Folks,

I just called VSC and spoke to an IIO.
Our case was approved yesterday and approval notice was sent out!
I couldn\'t believe it. I was expecting to hear somthing like "in the right area" or " final area"..
Needless to say, it\'s been one hell of a journey for over 4.5 years.
I survived several layoffs in the company along the way.
This website has been a lifeline since the last year for me and helped save the day on on one occassion big time, when I had not received the FP notice.

Got the courtesy copy of the approval on Nov 2nd, attorney also received the original on Nov 3rd.
I just wanted to mention that in my case amended I-140 was filed due company merger and name change. However, just as my attorney had advised, INS never sent me an RFE. My case was approved with a pending amended I-140 case. So it looks like the two are totally independent of each other!
