Greetings!!!!!! Friendss!!!
I know all the folks(especially mv12111, Jacklonthern) are not going to enjoy my posting... But I am writing anyway.....

Waiting Gurus (Xfered cases... ) Dont worry... I am stilling thinking that all the transfered cases should have the Visa numbers allotted and are ready for adjudication except those who are really struck in name check with names similar to thouse terror sleeper cells...
The name check trick they played is really dumb game.... Most of (if not All) the transfered cases are cleared from Namecheck... The people are not really strucked with the name check.. FBI was not able to handle the old cases or USCIS and FBI communication channel was broke for long time... That is the reason they held these namechecks results..
After the transfer, Service Centers(TSC/NSC) did request all the namechecks again (atleast on all the pending cases) and most of them are returned in no time...

So if there is no complicacy(i dont know how USCIS decides a case is complicate) all the Xfered cases should be cleared in coming months if not days or weeksss...........

So check your mail boxes once in a while and one day your GC will be waiting for you to pick it up....

Friends this not whole life... It just a part of it.... So take it easy....

I think our waiting game started when we were in line for visa stamping in Chennai... Autodrivers used to keep the people in the front of the line... And sell those places for money..... Now here the LC BEC lines, Xfered cases lines
and then citizenship lines.....

After 25 Years................... Another game....................

Wait in lines for Indian Citizenship as India is going to take over as World Super Power............................


I am waiting for that game.........................

i always loved to read ur posts.. they are always +ve, keep it going, i have my fingers crossed rite now, my pd 09/03 will be current on july as per current VB, my wife went for FP today afternoon for 4th EAD/AP. am hoping something will be triggered,what is your take on my case , do you think a VISA is assigned to my case ?

No link between Name Check and Transfers

All your thoughts are positive! (people waiting in the line for Indian citizenship is little bit too much)
I got letter from FBI (Thanks for FL Office) about my name check results.
My case was transfered to TSC on 7th March. As per FBI letter my name check was cleared on 15th March 2007 (Namecheck was submitted in 2005 after my first FP). My wife's name check was cleared on 15th May 2007 (Her name check was also submitted to FBI in 2005).

I do not think that TSC has submitted name check for everyone on the transfer (there is no way all these EB3 approvals have received their new name check results in weeks)
In fact when I called TSC one officer told me that my case EB2/Sep 2001 PD/Sep 2004 RD looks clear and in adjuction area (not assigned to the officer). I waited one month. Opened servicer request. Customer rep is telling me that my beackground check is still pending. :mad: she asked me to take infopass appointment and show my FBI letter to IO. I have appointment on 3rd. Let me see if I get the answer about when Visa Number is assigned to our case.
Otherwise knowing is the past history of how USCIS works. Till you get your approval, one should not assume it. I would be intested to know what this panic button? (What are our options... maximum call IO/Open SR/call Sentor etc... all seems to me, lines of the sand)

Positive Thoughts

I still think that we will see more approval in next 2-3 weeks.
Mostly it should be all EB2 (I am selfish) here.

I bought wine bottle to celebrate yesterday while shopping. Worst come worst, I will drink it to forget about all this GC process if it does not get approve in next 2 weeks :D

How long did it take to get the letter from FBI once you sent letter to FL???

i forgot to mention i had LUD's on 485 on 06/20 also.. am hoping the PD will still be current for 03 filers, even if DOS revises the VB.

This is all depend upon how much visa numbers are available for EB3 and EB2 India for fiscal years 2007. Lot of rumors are floating around. Around 2800 visa available for EB3 and same for EB2 India. I understand, 700 visas alloted to each category/country in each quarter. If it is true than minimum 700 visas should be still available for Eb3/India and EB2/India for last quarter (July to Sept.). It is more likely that note much approvals observed in EB2 category from different tracking tools and my guess is 900 to 1000 visas still available for EB2/India for last quarter. In June visa bulletin, cut off dates for EB2/India is Apr 2004. I seen one approval with March 04 priority date and Sept 05 RD.
I guess there are very few approvable I 485 with priority dates between April 2004 to March 2005 (pre-PERM) because who ever filed labor for that period might have struck in labor backlog and not lucky enough to file I 485 before Sept 2005. We know, Sept 05 to June 07 dates were retrogressed. PERM has only approved 900 cases for all categories between March 2005 to August 05. EB2/India would be less than 200 cases with total 500 I 485 applications between March 05 to August 05.

My prediction (however, I may be wrong. you never know USCIS and DOS):

If DOS/USCIS revise July VB, it may have September 2005 cut off dates. Again it is my guess.

I wish Visa Numbers allocated..

But dont expect any good news till the year end.

If it comes its good but if not we will be tensed ,watch emails daily, check the status etc. etc...
So better dont expect any for health point of view ,get relaxed and come into action again after Oct 2007.

I Wish Good Luck to all of US.
