Processing Times for Asylee Adjustment Cases

The Service is receiving approximately 69,000 applications per year. Over the past year, we have approved 78,592 cases. Consequently, as of September 15, 2007, approximately 65,836 asylee adjustment applications were pending. We anticipate that we will process pending applications according to the following schedule:

If pending at the Texas Service Center:

Date Received (Mail Date) Timeframe to be Processed
On or before December 8, 2006 September 30, 2007

On or after December 9, 2006 Within 9 months of receipt

If pending at the Nebraska Service Center:

Date Recieved (Mail Date) Timeframe to be Processed

On or before October 1, 2006 September 30, 2007

On or after October 2, 2006 Within 11 months of receipt

Is there a difference between this processing times and the other one posted every month for each service center.I'm a little bit confused about that.

Nine months now? :(

FWIW, both of my family's 485s have mid-July RD and 8/23/07 LUD (day after fingerprinting) but nothing after that.

It took my GC 14 months to be processed and my parents more than three years. 9 months is a huge improvement.
