Hurray...I am current (India Eb3 moves to 01 June 2003)

"E. EMPLOYMENT-BASED VISA AVAILABILITY DURING THE COMING MONTHS

The current level of demand in many of the Employment-based categories has been much lower than anticipated. As a result, the June cut-off dates have been advanced significantly in an effort to maximize number use under the annual numerical limits. At this time it appears likely that there will be additional advances during the coming months.

All readers should be aware that such cut-off date movements should allow for action to be finalized on a significant number of Citizenship and Immigration Services adjustment of status cases. Once that level of demand begins to exceed the supply of available numbers it will be necessary to make “adjustments” to the cut-off dates. At this time is in not possible to estimate when this is likely to occur, but it is expected. "

I got some message saying mail is not delivered. I called them and told I didn't move recently.

I am hoping getting my GC in next few weeks.

Pissed off with Visa Bulletin

Hello All,
I know, it is good sign for most of the people...But, I am really bothered to see this as there are more chances that a person on substitution labor with PD later than original labors could get approvals and it could be adding more processing delays also.
thanks,
Sri

Sri_know,

What is your point? Priority dates should never move?

How does a "person on substitution labor with PD later than original labors could get approvals"? All cases with PD which falls within the date specified in the bulletin has a chance of approval, original or substituted.

I think the service centers never had a clear idea how many cases they had, how many they were receiving, how many and how fast were they processing these cases. They just didn't have a finger on the pulse.

And only when they started transferring cases to the specialized service centers, did they realize how so few cases qualified under their earlier crappy PD predictions. Nothing else can explain such gross incompetence.
