Wrong priority date on I140 approval notice

Hi,

I was shocked when I called IIO last friday to check the status of my I485. The IIO told me that your priority date is not current and it will take about 4 to 5 months to take your case because your priority date is June 1999.I told him that my priority date is 25, April 1998( the day my labour was filled),but he told me that my priority is June 1999 as per their records and he asked me to check my I140 approval notice. When I Checked back my I140 approval notice, he was correct and the priority column is has the wrong date i.e. 15,June 1999. Is there any way we can fix INS mistake. If somebody has the similiar experience ,please post it.

iam in the same boat.. i guess you need to write a letter and fed-ex
along with a copy of labour certification..which has correct date..
i also notice last week.. i called my lawyer and iam waiting for rply
from my lawyer..pls post back if you a answer..

Hi Bademia,

I spoke to my lawyer and he will speak to IIO and ask them to re-issue the amended notice(140) with correct priority date. Is there any progress in your end.
