Wrong info on the approved EAD

I filed a family based AOS and we are stuck in name check. This is my third EAD renewal. We got EAD approved and I received it yesterday but the dates of valididty are 2/11/06-2/10-07 the same as the expiring EAD.

Now how do i correct it and how long it takes. I usually send my application to National Benefit Center at Missouri. I have heard that i need to refile and that it takes 90 days minimum. Some one mentioned in one of the forums or chat previously I cannot remember where that however once I get a new receipt number I can use that for 90 days in place of the EAD till I get the corrected EAD. Any suggestions as to what should I do.
 
I am in a similar (probably worse) situation. I had the same mistake on the card and I sent in my application again (without fees/photos/etc) to VSC but they kept my new card and refused my application saying it was missing fees/photos/etc. So I called customer service and they said that shouldn't have happened and asked me to try again with a cover letter explaining its USCIS mistake. Well its been 3 weeks now and my old expired EAD a few days ago. I have no new receipt number and no news on whats going on with my case. I don't know if I should continue working and how should I figure out the status of my case.

Anyone out there with a similar experience who can help us here?
