Wrong date on my new GC? Or not.

Just received my new IR6 category Green Card in mail and I noticed my "resident since" date might be wrong...

- resident since is shown as 07/11/12
- my AOS interview was on 07/12/12
- my notice I-797 notice date is 07/13/12
- my GC card expiration date is 07/17/22

Is it just me are they discrepancies. Should the expiration and 'resident since' dates be the same, just ten years apart? Am I missing something? What caught my attention was the fact that my interview was a day ahead of what my GC shows as 'resident since'... Therefore, should 'resident since' date be the same as my I-797 notice date?

Any help is appreciated, since I can't find any info online. People normally have very obvious typos from what I have seen, this is a little more confusing, but it could be correct, I just don't know...

Your "residence date" is wrong, because it's before the interview date. When calculating when to apply for citizenship, don't use that date.

Not necessarily. The expiration date can be 10 years after the card production was ordered (when did you get the "card production ordered" email?), which could result in a difference of a few days or weeks. But that doesn't really matter anyway -- either you're either going to apply for citizenship long before it expires, or you'll apply for renewal months before it expires.
