Wrong Date of Birth on Certificate

I thought this would have been a very commen problem, but still I was not able to find this question in any forum.

Well, my passport and all other certificates show my date of birth as 10th. When my labor got cleared I requested a date of birth certificate from my home town in India. Now this certificate shows my date of birth was registerd as 11th (month and year are the same), and so the certificate that I got showed the date of 11th.

Now my question is what options do I have in the above scenario?

Should I get two affidavits from my parents stating that my DOB is infact 10th, and 11th is a clerical error ? Or try to get a non-availability certificate. Are there chances of RFE on DOB certificate later on ?

1 get the new date of birth certificate with correct date as in your passport
OR
2. try to get non-availability certificate+ two affidavits from your parents stating your DOB as 10, place of Birth, state and address where they are residing, better get the affidavits on Stamp paper.
