Wow, ND 12/2003, I got my 485 approved

My case is approved just with in a week of FP.

My notice date is 12/30/2003.

FP taken on 1st nov, 2004
485 approved on 8th Nov, 2004

Yes, It is !!

My 140 took more than 16 months. I did not file concurrently.

But any way when it came to the final thing, I feel I am very very lucky.

I am feeling like I am on clouds.

Dont know how to celebrate it. Any ideas??

Give me some good ideas. Please keep in mind that I am a desi. So, economical Ideas Please!!!

First, Congratualations are in order!!! That is great. Your's is THE fastest approval I know of.

What is your EB category? Also please post 140 approval date.

I 140 Approved on July1, 2004 ( it was filed in April 2003, Non-concurrent)
 
Congratulations! :)

Even though your I140 and I485 were filed at seperate times, technically your case was concurrent since your I485 was filed (Dec. 2003) before the approval of I140 (July 2004). You are extremely lucky. Congratulations again. :)

I know you are a DESI, as only we know the value of GC's.

Ideas on how to celebrate:

1. If you are BACHELOR, then try to arrange a bachelorate party calling some US chicks and have a nice time at your home(Dont worry about money, you got your GC you can work hourly basis from now on and also do two jobs at the same time)

2. If you are MARRIED, go to temple with your wife and have nice food outside and this weekend or sometime, plan for a drive to Canada and relax!!!
