I update the address at INS 20 days after moving/changing address at the post office?

Because there is no organization called INS anymore....

Sorry I think it is frustration kicking in early in the morning.....


Truth is they need it within 10 days....You will be breaking a law which is punishable by deportation, go figure out....
but again they are not able to implement it fully yet

I informed INS abt change of address after 30 days, so you will be fine.

I heard there are piles of AR-11s sitting their and no one enters into the system after we mail them and thats the reason INS has old address when u call them to verify.

I have changed .My address by AR11 before 4 months .I thought of calling IIO(few days before)to check whether they have the right address in the file ?.

Guess what...

My changed address was not updated at all so I felt there is no use of filling AR11 better talk to a IIO before Jun 1 and change your 485 mailing address.

Yes, it would be a "crime for INS" if you post AR-11 after 20 days of move. Let us all get together and hang INS. Oops! INS already hanged and resurrected itself as BCIS.
