Dear Pal,
I am happy because I have received my interview notice. I am preparing my documents prior interview in Chicago. I have a permanent address in Chicago as well as New York.
My concern is I agreed to take the job as a sales engineer with office in New York, but travels to my territory( mid-west and west) including chicago. My husband(USC) is a full time student and I need to work though I have my relative as my co-sponsor. He is a student in Chicago.
I requested my company to write my proof of my employment letter stating that I travel frequent to Chicago for work purposes. I will spend 2 weeks or less in NY, 1 week in Chicago and 1 week travelling to other state to customer sites.
Did I make a bad decision of taking a New York job? I tried looking for job in Chicago but, I can't find anything.
My husband is graduating next year and both of us are from New York originally. He planned to go back to NY as soon as he finish study.
Will the immigration officer would deny my case?
Please advise. I need your help urgently.
