Working on Old H1 visa

Hi all,

I was working for 'CompanyA'.

'CompanyB' has offered me a job .But I didnt join that company.
receipt date:Sept 2001
valid:Nov 2001 to Mar 2004

Later on 'CompanyC' has offered me a job and I started working in. And my passport has stamp of 'CompanyC' visa.
receipt date:Oct 2002
valid : Feb 2002 to Oct 2004

Now I lost my job in 'CompanyC'.
Can I join in 'CompanyB' ? Is 'CompanyB' visa is still valid after 10 months of approval?

Also later on can I get H4 for my dependent using 'CompanyB' visa?

No

I think you have only 60 days before a h1 goes out of scope. You need to do a h1 transfer

I talked to the lawyer of 'CompanyB'. He says that I can join 'CompanyB' without any problem.

Can you point me to any link to get more information.
