Working in USA family living abroad planning to get REP

Im here working in USA for about 6 months, My family still leaving abroad, they are there almost for 7 months, since when i get the job there was not medical Insurance for them they could not came here, our plan all together came here and get a REP for them, we should expect problem at POE, since this is my family 2 nd long trip, LPR since 2011, 2 long trips, with this 1 st 6 months and 2 nd 7 months. first due to pregnancy and this one due to medical insurance issue.
Advices please.

Wait, do they already have re-entry permits? If so, there shouldn't be a problem coming back after 2 trips. Do you all plan to live in the US after they return this time?

REP must be got before leaving US.The long trips would effect later during naturalization but now traveling with GC should not be a problem at POE.

no we dont have any REP yet, just asking what to expect at the POE, since Im here at USA but need to bring my family that take a second long trip over 7 months living outside. the idea is take a REP fro them.
