Working in the U.S.

I am a 17 year old Canadian citizen currently, but will be 18 next year when I

move to the US. In order for me to be able to live in the US (possibly NY or

Cali), long-term (several years or even permanently) and also be able to work

(any job, can be part-time but has to be legal), what requirements would I

need in terms of visas, records...etc? And what kind of forms would I need to

fill out? So I need someone from the forum to please get me started as I am

very unintelligent in this field!

Thank you for reading and please comment! :)

It is illegal to work or live permanently unless you get a green card.
No part time job will get you one.
You need a good education, or marriage, or luck in a lottery.
