I have an existing H-1B from company X . Company Y is a wholly owned subsidiary/division of X. My recent pay check was issued by the subsidiary company. I still work for the parent company although my paystubs would be issued under the subsidiaries name. I am not sure if the H-1 visa regulations actually allow me to accept a paychecks issued by the subsidiary company. Can someone throw any further light on this.
