Working after TN expires

I am a Mexican Citizen and I am currently working in the USA under a TN Visa. My visa expires in a month, but I want to see If I can stay in the USA for a few more days after my visa expires and then travel to Mexico to renew it with the same company. My I94 was a totally diferrent date and according to that I can stay until next year. Does that mean I can stay until next year? Will this affect my renewal? Can I stay working for those extra days?

Please clarify, is it your Visa that is expiring or is it your status (as indicated by your I-94) that is expiring? You can stay and work legally in US as long as you have a valid I-94 in TN status. Visa is only needed to re-enter US.
