working after I-485 is approved.

Hi Gurus,

My i-485 was approved very recently. It takes around 60-70 days to get the GC. My question is how do I work for these 60 days. Is EAD a valid option for this time or I use my A#.

Any help on this matter will be highly appreciated.

I know someone get the card one week after the 485 approval. why it takes 60 days for your case? which center is yours?

Green cards are usually mailed out after AOS approval. You should get them between 3-14 days. If you dont get it after a long wait, you can take your approval to your DO and have your passport stamped (I-551). That would give you the green card status temporarily till you get your plastic card.

I am with NSC. 485 approval letter said that it will be within 60 days you receive biometrics letter or if it is not required then GC will be mailed.
