I have been waiting to get my permanent papers to travel in and out of the country (USA) and each year I have to pay $120.00 to renew my worker's permit to allow me to work in this country. Just the other day, I went to pay the money and renew my worker's permit, but they took my old one away, collected my money and said they would contact me in 30 to 90 days, but just the other day (4 days later), I get a certified mail from them and I was unable to get it at the time and now I have to get it on Thurday. What are they going to do to me? Can they kick me out of the country? I didn't do anything bad. I work, pay taxes and am a good person. I am so scared. Does anyone have any knowledge on this? I already had my first interview. I just want to be able to travel in and out of the country. I have been waiting over 10 years. Why would they send me a letter so soon?
