My friend came to US on a Work & Travel J1 visa and now wants to apply for a F1 student visa.
Everything is fine except one point: When she applied for J1 visa she said that she was planning to work for one employer but once she came to US she found another employer and worked there only a fraction of the entire time she was allowed to work.
There is a question on I-539 form about employment in US - what does she need to write there? - the originally planned employer or the real employer? I would be very grateful for any recommendations. Thank you.
