Work Overseas for same company while green card pending.

It’s been now 5 months over from my 485 received date.
I have EAD, AP, H1 valid visa and FP done.

It looks like I need to go to India (My companies own branch office in India) and work for 5-6 months there

Any body has any experience while 485 pending and traveled and worked overseas.

What are the things I should ask from my company or what are the things I should worry or take care about?

Please advice.

It is ok.GC is for a future job. But just to be sure see if you can get the following:
1. get paid in US and file taxes (optional)
2. Get a letter from company stating that the GC job offer submittted with I485 is still valid
3. Apply for AP and EAD diligently 3+ months before expiry no matter what. Maybe you can take over this part of the process...
