It’s been now 5 months over from my 485 received date.
I have EAD, AP, H1 valid visa and FP done.

It looks like I need to go to India (My companies own branch office in India) and work for 5-6 months there

Any body has any experience while 485 pending and traveled and worked overseas.

What are the things I should ask from my company or what are the things I should worry or take care about?

Please advice.

I have no direct answer to your question, but I co-worker of mine is now working in Europe after she filed for I485 in the US si it seems that working abroad should be no problem.

I just wanted to recommend that you inquire (with your lawyer or with INS) if it is possible to switch to consular processing. I am not sure but I think I have heard people here on the board saying that consular processing would be much faster.

What are you currently working on now, i.e., H1 or EAD? If you are working on an H1 then make sure that it's valid beyond the time you plan to return. If not, you'll have to apply for a multiple-entry visa while in India. If you're working on an EAD make sure that the AP is valid beyond the time you plan to return. If not, you might face problems entering. What's your 485 RD and ND? Make sure you carry a letter from your company saying something like you are visiting India on business, xyz is your job description, and how you are important to their business and that the immigration officer is requested to allow your re-entry into the US since you have a valid H1/AP. This for a just in case scenario. You seem to have all the required documents, i.e., AP, H1, EAD and you have also done your FP.
