Work on EAD (Hrly/permenent)

I been laid off recently 09/02/2003.
RD 11/27/2001
ND 12/04/2001
RFE responded 05/2003.
AD ???

For search of new jobs, Do I have to get permenent job? Can I work hourly for short duration project??(It is in software only , but short term )Is it OK to work on hourly basis until I find permenent position?

Has anybody done like this before??
 
On EAD you can work as you feel like..hourly, temp, perm ...only thing you should kkep in mind that if you can RFE from employment you will have to show permanent job offer....

You will be fine. As you have already responded RFE there is a very little chance that you will get another RFE. Your case will be approved anytime soon. Only problem is if you get another employment RFE (as I said chance is minimal) you might be in problem.

I had a similar situation. I took up a government job which is non-classified (that means it has a end date in 2006) and the appointment letter states that it has an end date. Will that be a problem?

Also do I need to inform BCIS about this job change OR wait until RFE?
