work experience for I - 140

Hi, I have to file I - 140 but my previous company is not giving me my exp letter. is it possible that i can use letter from my co-worker for this matter. what is the chance of getting approval if i use coworkers letter. anybody with similar experience out there

When they say it needs to be notarized, what does it actually mean? Do we take the original and the copy to a notary who attests it as a "True copy" ?

Yes, the Notary certifies the document for the due purpose.
