I am trying to put together an application for a tn1 as hotel manager. I have a post secondary diploma in hotel management and several short hotel experiences that span from 1995 to 2002 in Europe. I have since then worked exclusively in another industry (marketing) but am trying to go back to the hotel industry in the US.
As mentioned, these experiences are short and several years old. These experiences ranged from 2 weeks to 11 months, never over a year. Do people have experiences about how to round up or down the months/years of experience when demonstrating the 3 years of experience. Also, does it have to be recent experience?
Also, I was receptionist / concierge / night auditor... are these epxeriences qulified as hotel manager?
