Work Authorization on L2

HI,
I'm on L2 and currently working as my husband is on L1. We both applied for green card/EAD through my daughter who is a US Citizen. My husbands green card was approved and mine is still under process. Even my EAD (C9 category) is under process. Our current L1/L2 is valid for one more year. Can I continue to work on my L2?

Yes, as long as your husband continues to comply with the terms of L1
He is with the same company and same position on which he had his L1 visa. I was advised that his L1 is invalid as he got GC irrespective if he remains in same job/role. Hence wanted clarification.

If your husband has adjusted status to LPR he is no longer L1 so you cannot be L2, as it is a derivative status. You can remain legally in the US as you are adjustment pending, but would need an EAD to work legally.

Oops I missed the part where his GC was approved. Yeah you don't have L2 status anymore and need an EAD to work.
