Work Authorization and family

Hello is there any special circumstances that I can get work authorization sooner than usual,

Me and my wife applied for asylum, in the process my wife gave birth to child, so our daughter is US citizen now, does it makes any difference, actually it must be logical that new born child needs family members to be employed, so is there any ways to get work authorization sooner than usual?

thanks

I am sorry, but you can not get your EAD earlier. I hope you will get your interview and approval soon together with all benefits and EAD.

Thanks for supporting, I do gigs work time to time and survive each month like this, however child receives food stamps, has medicaid. But no one wants to rent me a house, even I have good payment history that everywhere I rented I paid always in time.

I applied in the beginning of June, so I will wait two more month to file for EAD

21 days passed from the time I filed application, I got finger prints notice and did finger prints with other family members. however no interview date yet.

Look for a roomate that way u wont have to pay your landlord directly.
How do you get hired for gig jobs? I am also looking for a gig job but xant find any..through craigslist because i know nobody here

At first when I didn't had the credit history, what I did was paid $500 deposit, paid Jan rent $500 and paid Feb rent $500 in advance so if in case something goes wrong, they have a month rent in advance and deposit to cover the breach of contract.
At the end when I was ready to move, I gave them 30 days advance notice and didn't paid the rent as it was already paid and simple moved out.
I got the deposit back as well.

You can offer that I guess.

Housing

I believe NY/NJ area has some kind of support programs for asylum seekers. I know Detroit has one that provides housing, food, also a legal aid for qualifying asylum seekers until they settle down on their own. The one in Detroit (Freedom House) I believe, offers such services for those who have not exceeded a one-year filing deadline. You might want to call the Freedom House Detroit and ask them if they know any similar program in NY/NJ area.

Also, you might want to try IRC (International Rescue Committe), I know they also provide housing/food support for asylees, but not sure if they provide support for asylum seekers. You can google "International Rescue Committee New York". Their phone is: + 1 212 551 3000.
