Work abroad after 4 years of PR

Dear Immigration Gurus:

I got my PR through EB1-Outstanding Researcher about 4 years ago. I have worked and lived in the US since then. Now my father's business back in my home country needs my help for about 2 years. I am planning to quit my current job and work for him for about 2 years. Meanwhile, my wife and kids will remain in the US and I will come back to see them every 2 months. Before making the move, I have a few questions that need to be cleared:

1. Can I apply for US citizenship when my 5-year PR period is over (next August)?

2. Will I have trouble to keep my PR?

3. Other than keep filing taxex, pay mortgage and bills, are there any other things I need to do?

4. What kind of documentation should this company provide when applying for citizenship?

5. Anyone knows a good lawyer in NJ/NYC area who may be good at this kind of issues?

Gurus, any answers and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

It is not my intention to hurt your feelings. But Being a Researcher, it is a pity that you are not able to search the most popular sites like USCIS etc to get the answers of the most simple, basic questions you have got. Leave alone seraching the other sites, you can get a wealth of information in the same site for all your questions if you spend just 10 or 15 minutes. As far I am concerned, as an idividual with self esteem and belief in my own abilities, I never depend on somebody for answers to questions, that can easily be found.

Refer to Form N-400,

You will have to keep track of each an every trip you spent outside USA. Including Date of Leaving USA and coming back, Country visited.

Joef,
I am sorry to say that your answers are not at all satisfactory and defy any logic. My main idea is to convey to the people in this forum to make best use of wealth of info that is already availabele and answered by many experts. We should always make an effort to at least get the basic information. That is what most people do before asking a question. It has nothing to with others experience. Here I am talking about basic things. If we don't do that, we are not really making use of this forum effectively. I am of the opinion that we should encourage people to find the info on their own, availabe in this forum under various CRYSTAL CLEAR headings and archives. This is what we even teach to our kids. I tell my kids to first try themselves and not ask questions blindly. I know many people become lazy and depend on others just for information. Remember knowledge is different from information. Here the issue is asking for information that is already available.

JoeF and sayedfaisal:

Thanks a lot for the time and information provided. I believe your contribution to this community has cleared many misunderstandings on (by not so knowlegable immigrant like me) immigration laws. Thanks.

If you can't answer, just don't......You can't ask somebody to not to post or search before post.....The basic purpose of this board is to get answers from others who have experience or knowledge. One can search or post a question. It's that individual's choice not yours. If you want, you may choose to answer or else just don't bother to reply. This board looses its value by the posts like yours. Now please don't reply to my post. If you can't participate, just stay away.
