Hello All,
I have been a silent member here and wanted to share my news as encouragement to others waiting patiently.
I am Finally done with name check hell and my IL came yesterday. . I guess the key is to be patient with this process
I didn't bother and stress out with things like writing to elected officials, WOM etc. and just decided not to lose any sleep over this and wait patiently.
All those waiting patiently, can be hopeful as USCIS seems to be clearing all backlogs. Just keep an eye out for that 2nd FP notice, seems like that is followed in 2-3 weeks by the IL.
Details are as below.
Me and Spouse Applied at NSC/Chicago: May 2007
Both FP : Jun 2007
Spouse Interview/Oath: Oct/Nov 2007.
My 2nd FP done: Oct 1 2008 and my case disappeared from uscis website.
My Int. Date: Nov 18 2008
Oath : TBD

Yes it does seem true, second FP = IL letter two weeks later!!!!
