Just wanted to let you all know. My case has been approved!:)

I have updated rupnet under handle 'thingum'

And yes I had a plan 'B' in case of an RFE for employment letter. But it was a more expensive plan..:rolleyes:
 
Here was my plan B
1- Hire a lawyer. this is a given because RFE is employment based
2- Had a friend who had a consulting co. So I give him cash and he gives me paychecks to show proof of employment. Completely legit (I think) because all taxes and sundries are deducted at source.

I know a couple of H1-B folks who are in that situation because of layoffs...
I dont know if it would have worked. Your comment/suggestions are most welcome.
