don;t want to sound like a broken record here but my i-130 was approved day after interview on Feb 22, 2006...my i-485 has been pending since. I cannot believe how long this stupid background check is taking. Only update i got was early December "Fingerprint review completed" but from what I read on thse boards, it does not necessarily mean that it is the end of the backgrounc check!
I hope you won't be in the same case

I'm in the same boat. I130 Approved day after interivew on March 24, 2006. Haven't heard one word since then. My fringerprint review was completed back on December 1, 2005.
 
My interview was 10/27/06 and everything was approved pending name check..My I-130 didnt update till 01/29/07 and I recived the approval notice today as well as the welcome letter for my I-485 I have been approved for a 10 yr GC!! Good luck on those still waiting
