Won DV lottery with passport having different DOB than original Birth certificate

Hy everyone, i am a winner of dv lottery 2023. I won with passport that has date of birth different from my birth certificate and academic certificates.
Passport : 24/10/1993
Birth certificate : 24/10/1995
Academic certificates : 24/10/1995

I recently filled my DS 260 form with same passport information. Is it okay to unlock the DS 260 form and apply with new passport with correct information or should I go with same passport at the interview? I have recommendation letter from the passport issuing authority and local government body that person with different date of birth are same? Do US consulates take that into consideration?
I have travelled to foreign countries and has working visa also on the same passport.

Won't KCC disqualify my case? Becasue if I get a new passport, I will have a new passport number and new issue and expiry date. This leads complete change of information between original entry and DS 260. I have doubt that KCC may disqualify me and not send me 2nd letter bcz of change in biographical information.
Get a new passport with the correct DOB. Use the correct DOB on your DS260 form.

So you will rather continue with the inaccurate information as shown on the current passport than rectify the situation because you are afraid of KCC disqualifying your case? Anyway, KCC is an administrative body, they do not have the power to disqualify a selectee. Any disqualification or denial that can happen will be done at the embassy by the CO.

As for your DOB issue, I've already stated what you need to do in order to address the situation. If asked about the discrepancy at the interview, you should be able to explain the error on the passport you used which ordinarily shouldn't lead to a denial or disqualification on it's own, unless the CO determines the wrong DOB was used in an attempt at submitting multiple entries.

Thank you for your kind suggestion sir. I am afraid bcz many applicants don't receive their 2nd letter which i believe is sent by the KCC.

A selectee’s non receipt of the 2NL has nothing to do with being disqualified.
Sir I don't have that great knowledge of EDV process. My only question to you is those people with low case number doesn't receive their 2NL sometimes. Why does that happen? I believe its just due to change in information between original entry and DS260 entry and So is my case going to happen if I will fill up my DS 260 with cahnged passport information. Thats why I am afraid.

I think you will benefit a great deal by going over some of the articles and blogs Simon has put together to address most common DV questions such as the ones you’re asking:
