Hi gurus,
I was hoping if some one could help me with following questions.

1. I've been stuck in name check since 12/2005 at NSC. Details as follows;
PD Sept 2003
EB2 worldwide
NSC
I-140/485 filed : 12/2005
I-140 approved : 1/2006
I-485 pending
NSC currently processing 485 with RD May 2006
Reason for delay : stuck in name check

I did the routine; senator inquiry, congressman inquiry, AILA inquiry, USCIS calling, Infopass, etc
I guess I'm a little impatient : Thought about filing WOM. My attorney says I should really wait atleast 18 months before filing WOM. Any suggestions ?

2. I've been thinking recently about changing jobs by invoking AC21. Is this going to hurt me if I file WOM later. What if I transfer to self portability.

Appreciate any kind of help.

In my opinion, 12 months of wait is too short to consider a WOM.The judge will most likely just toss the case out unless you file it in a very friendly district(like the northern district courts of CA). Most lwayers recommedn waiting atleast 2 years to have a strong enuf case. 12 months is just too short a wait.
