Withdrew I-539 change of status to B2 but later received biometrics appointment

Hi all,

I withdrew a pending I-539 change of status to B2 once I got a new TN, but I subsequently received a notice to appear for a biometrics appointment. What do I do in this situation? Shall I just not attend the appointment?

If you went to the border to get TN, your I-539 is "automatically" considered abandoned. But it is always advisable to formally withdraw the application since -- as you are now seeing -- they sometimes don't disappear. If it is easy for you, I would go to the appointment or call them and remind them that the I-539 is dead.
