Withdrawing dependent AP application

Can I withdraw a dependent AP application for which INS has issued an RFE?

The RFE is for a copy of the primary applicant's approved I-140; which the previous employer refuses to give.

What are the consequences of wirhdrawing the AP application or not responsing to an RFE?

Consequence: Your dependent's GC is in Question. Only other avenue is using CP to get GC.

Jaxen...I am missing your point...maybe I was not clear.

Since the RFE is for my dependents AP...my question is "Can I withdraw my dependents AP application only without affecting pending AOS for me and dependents?"

In my opinion No. Your non submission of 140 is already recorded with INS when you refuse to submit it with your dependents AP RFE. If you intend to exercise AC21 this is the best time. My guess is that, it will save everybody's GC/485..
