Will traveling without AP influence I-485?

I applied for AP on May, 18 in NSC. I have not received an approval as yet.
I have two questions:

1. Will traveling without AP influence I-485 processing?

2. How long does it take in NSC to get an AP approval?

Do not do this mistake unless you have a valid H1B stamp

Don't do the mistake of traveling without Advance Parole unless you have a valid H1B stamp on your passport or unless you have to go urgently. You might run into problems while going to US consulate / embassy for H1B stamping. Recently my wife had to wait for 4 painful months at Delhi for H1B stamp while her background check was going on...
