Will they cancel me F1 visa?

I am currently a student on F1 visa , I have an interview for DV , will they cancel my F1 visa , even if I should wait for the FBI clearance?

i have heard that they cancel the existing non-immigrant visa at the start of the interview. however plz check with the experienced lawyer.

I already have extend / change nonimmigrant my Visa from B1/B2 visa to F1 since four months ago, can i cancel the F1 Visa because I am no longer wanted to study in the school, I want to travel to France to live in paris and return to the USA for a visit a year later, with the knowledge that the B1/B2 valid until 2013, can I cancel the F1 Visa and the use of B1/B2 the original Visa to return to visit USA after one year later .
