hello,

my interview is coming up; im filing based on 5 years residence; i obtained the GC throug marriage:

will they be asking question re my ex wife? what kind of questions? i just want to be prepared

Thank you very much for your courtesy

There's no reason why they would question you about ex-wife. However, they can ask about previous marriage and request divorce decree.

Questions regarding your previous marriage would definitely spring up during the interview. How long were you married? If the marriage was for a short duration, it will raise unwanted suspicions regarding the marriage as the USCIS would think that it was solely for the purpose of getting a green card. If you were married for a few years and then got a divorce, then you would be safe. The divorce document is a must in the interview.
