Hello!

I am so much confused if someone can help me and guide me i shall be thankful to you.

I worked for one company and they wanted to send me to US for business discussion and for that i applied for Business visa thorugh this company and got 10 yrs multiple visa. As discussions were going on and finally company settled issue and my trip was postponed further. Few months back i lost the job and shifted to another company.

I have never used my Business visa. Now my friends in USA are inviting me for one week and financially i am sound to visit.

Do i have to visit consulate again to get new visa ? or my visa which is valid for 10 yrs is active.

My sponsor company was in Los angles and now i want to visit New york.

Please guide me with best solution.

Is your visa a B1/B2 visa? Visitor for Business or Pleasure?

If that is the case, then you case use it to go anywhere you want to. It does not matter what company or friends invite you for as long as you have defined plans (an itinerary) including a return ticket to your country.

You can use your B-1/B-2 visa for a private visit. Remember, all your visa does is grant you the permission to request entry. After that, it all depends on the POE inspector.
