Will the new executive order halt the I-130 for my spouse?

Hi.

I applied for I-130 for my spouse on March 2020. Is the executive order going to halt the immigration process for my spouse?

There’s no new Exec Order as of now, the only thing we have is a tweet which is not an Exec order. So no one has any detail of what will be included or exempted at this time.

It suspends entry as immigrants. The I-130 should be able to be processed, but after it is approved your spouse can't get the immigrant visa or enter with the immigrant visa.

As newacct says, it doesn't halt the process, it may affect visa issuance. if you’re a USC then your spouse is fine, if you are LPR your spouse is subject to the 60-day ban on visas/entry. however.... as you only applied last month, and i130s typically take around 10 months to process, it’s probably irrelevant to you.
