Will that matter?

Many of my friends who filed at the same time with me all got their GC approved. I did my 2nd FP at the end of Sep and no news since then :( . I am in Washington DC now where doesn't belong to NSC any more. Can this be the reason to cause the delay of my case? I feel so frustrated and hopeless praying my case can be approved soon ...

Call FBI for finger printing status.

It does not matter if you are in different location. I am located in Dallas and my application was filed in NSC. I got my approval in August 2004 after 2nd finger printing and RFE.

Hope this helps.

A friend of mine, an Oct 02 ND, moved from NSC jurisdiction to Nevada this August. He updated his address with NSC when he moved. Couple of months ago he just got a RFE from NSC for new employement details and got approved. He even got his second FP done in Nevada. On the other hand I am still with NSC and waiting......

One more thing

Thank you so much for the replies. I called FBI and they said the FP result has been sent back to USCIS in Oct. Actually my online status has changed to reflect that. One thing is that my husband took the FP at the same time with me but he received another letter at the end of Nov asking him to take again. I guess somehow his FP is not good enough so that FBI needs him to redo it. But this shouldn't be a reason to slow down the process. Bottom line is case is adjudicated separately so mine shouldn't depend on his completion of FP, right?
