Will spouse\' use of EAD invalidate my H1?

Hi, guys,

My wife and I have filed our I485 and got EAD. If my wife use her EAD, will that invalidate my H1? If I keep my H1 status valid, in case my 485 get denied(although it is very unlikely), can I stay and work in US using my H1 status or I have to leave? If I use EAD, when the denial happens, can I switch back to H1 and stay here?

If your wife uses EAD she invalidates her H4. There is no effect on your H1.

If your I485 gets denied, what\'s the point in staying? Don\'t they start removal proceedings?

Does it mean she does not need to apply for a new H4 if it\'s to expire? Also her stay is limited by the expiration date of the EAD, is it right? Actually I\'m asking for my wife who\'s in the same situation while I\'m on H1. Thanks
