Amidst this hoopla of retrogression of 485 priority dates will
the dates benefit us..... Any body has any any thoughts/concerns...please post !!!!!

And hopefully all the service center will have some uniformity i am guessing. Since EB2 is still current i am sure they can once again be consistently no uniform in the approvals. This is a complex process and many thesis can hold good trying to identify this process.

Cheers

thats a very negitive way of thinking! why do u have to step over anyone and everyone till u get ur greencard?

I doubt that....

Couple of reasons:
1. EB petition are not priority for anyone except beneficiary
2. USCIS has tendency to relocate resources to other type of cases
3. Pending I-485 applicants who are going to suffer will still apply for EAD/AP.
4. If trend continued, EB-2 will be next to get hit with PD.

Yes, i think that from january onwards, Eb2 cases and EB3 cases having PD before 1/1/2002, will move faster because the adjudicators will be constrained to work on these cases only(for indians, chinese, philippines) .
Ofcourse there is no guarantee that INS will follow FIFO from january. Infact they might continue the random processing for EB2 category and mess up that category also. So i think EB2 dates retrogression is not far away.

Let's hope u r right.
