I have just moved, haven't filed AR-11 yet. But my EAD was approved today. What should I do? I'll send AR-11 out within 10 days, but wil post office forward the approval notice and card to my new address? Thank you very much.

It all depends...
FYI, I also moved couple of weeks back.. 2 days after I moved, INS sent FP notice to me that was re-directed by the Post Office. Whereas my wife's H4 extension was approved just 3 days after our move, obviously it went to my old address and not re-directed so far by the Post Office.

So in any case just call up and change your address in addition to sending the AR-11 form.
These are the things you need to do with INS when you move.. ( in addition to lots and lots of stuff you do when you move)
1. Send completed AR-11 from (i guess the postal address is London, KY) for each one in your family in separate envalops by certified post. This way you have proof that you have sent. Also take copies of all AR-11s.
2. Send Copy of AR-11, Copy of your receipts for the cases that are pending with INS, and a cover letter, to your service center.
3. Call INS 800 number and update the address
Here are the details to follow when updating address (assuming you do not speak espanol)
Call (800) 375-5283
press 1
then
press 1
then
press 2
then
press 9 to talk to a customer service rep.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for the information!

for ppl who have their H1 expired and are working on EAD what should we enter under following fields in AR-11 form

1 if not permanent Resident, My stay in the US expires on (Date)field

My guess is expiration date of EAD

2. Date of Entry into US field

My guess is first entry date not the last one..

3. I am in the united states as
Check boxes
1. Visitor
2. Permanent Resident
3. Student
4 Other

My guess check Other and then specify as adjustee/Adjustment of Status

TIA

your guess to Q 1 and 3 are same as my guess but for 2 I would write the last entry to the US.

My FP2 notice was returned to USCIS

In January 2004, about 10 months after I moved, my FP2 notice was sent to my previous address. The post office put on a forward address label on the envelope and returned it to USCIS. The USCIS then send the notice to me again according to the new forward address provided by the post office. The turn around time was about 3 weeks.

So, I guess if you still have the mail forwarding service from the post office, USCIS will send you the notice again.. However, it's always safer to call them and have you new address verified.

Good luck!
