Will my case transfer effect my EAD?

Hello Everybody,
I just got a letter from DHS stating that my case has been transferred to Texas Service Center from Vermont Service Center but no such letter from my wife. I have two questions based on this:
1.Does this mean that my wife's case has not been transfered.How can I find out whteher her case has been transferred or not?
2.If I assume that my wife's case has not been transferred does that mean that now we have to File EAD in two different locations texas for me and vermont for my wife?
I would greatly appreciate any help.I am soon to file my 4th EAD and was wondering how can I file it correctly.
