Will LUD change if you change the Password?

I changed the password last Saturday(07/24) since it said that my password will expire in 14 days. Today my LUD is changed to 07/26, Is this because I changed the password? Anybody with similiar experiences?

My case is similar to yours, I did my 2FP in June 15, my RD is July 17. I also changed my password last week.

Not sure what have happened.

Hope our cases can be approved soon.

Did your LUD change after you change the Password?
 
Your LUD did not change because you changed your password. There has been some action on your case. I changed my password a few weeks back and my LUD hasnt changed yet.

Besides the LUD is changed to July 26, the message itself it the same. What is the point to change LUD without changing the message?

Does anyone have the answer for this?

On 7/24/04, I got the same message to change my password and got a confirmation e-mail right after doing it. (The very first e-mail I got from USCIS!)

I can't believe that I just saw new LUD... It is 7/26/04.

Isn't this because of my password change???
(Maybe I'm trying not to be too optimistic.)

I was asked to change my password when I tried to log in awhile ago. No LUD change after I did that.

And I NEVER receive any email notification, despite recent activities. Hard to fathom how their system works.

I also got touched today (7/26), although online status remained the same. Maybe the few of us are all handled by the same officer, who decided to do some work today. ;)

LUDs can change due to some 'internal processing' on your case - IBIS name check, for example. The message will only change when the status of your case changes (i.e., approved, RFE sent, etc.) If the status changes, the LUD will always change, but not the other way around.

Do not worry about LUD. We got our approval notices in the mail box. Neither LUD nor case status change nor email notification occured. Trust your approval notices and get the stamping done. Good luck!
 
To test, I changed password last night, but so far my LUD didn't change. So change passwd will not triger LUD change.
