Background:
1. My wife is primary CP applicant and I am the derivative/dependent CP applicant, planning to mail completed pkt-3 shortly.
2. I am working on H-1B currently and have EAD, from pending I-485 from MY employer.
3. I am likely to loose my current job by August '03, but I understand that I can legally stay in US, as my I-485 is pending.
Clarifications:
1. Based on the current trend can we expect October '03 interviews at Chennai?
2. Will it be a problem during our CP interview, if I (derivative applicant) don't have a job by then ?
3. Can you please share your experiences, will Consular Officer ask details of dependents employment? Will the visa be rejected if the dependent doesn't have Job?
