Will I be eligible for citizenship?

Hello to all,

I am new here, I like your forum. I am DV 2010 winner from Germany and I wonder if I am eligible for naturalization in 2015.

1) Because I had to finish my affair back in Germany I couldn't move permanently when I first arrived to the U.S. So I basically arrived and left after two weeks then I did this one again after 6 months. From February 2011 I do spend most of my time in the USA. With occassional trip here and there for total 2-3 weeks.

2) However, this year 2013, I went to Germany for 3 months. I spent July - October outside. Now, after only two months in the USA I am going to take another 3-4 month-trip to Germany. Is that going to cause a problem?

I know that in total none of the trips exceed six months, but added together they are more than six months with "only" two month gap in the U.S.

Am I worrying for nothing? Or is it something that may cause some issues? After this trip I am not planning to take any other longer trip anytime soon.

Thank you guys, you have very nice forum :)

I will try to simplify my main question given here. About the absences:

3 months out -> 2 months in -> 4 months out

In simple language, would those be considered as 2 issue-free short separate trips; or one big 7 months trip added together?

I think 2 months is a nice buffer gap, so don't worry about it too much, especially if you didn't work abroad. You'd be better off applying for citizenship at the END of 2015/beginning of 2016 so that your long trips at the beginning of your LPR status will be out of your 5 year window.
