hi, I'm a F1 student and my husband is greed card holder. We are thinking if my husband file 130 for me right now? So that after two years I can get adjust status(I-485) which is much more quick than waiting for him become a US citizen(3 more years to wait for citizen).
But I am also worrying if my husband file I-130 for me, will it affect me as a student maintaing F1 status? when I graduate(2 more years away), will USCIS deny my application of OPT? Or if I want to transfer to another school, will USCIS deny the transfer of I-20?
These questions really bother us these days. I truly appreciate if someone can help me.
