Will CSC update AVM when they receive our response to RFE?

FRE will be updated within one month after the documents are received.
Finger print status, however, will not be reflected in the message.

Hi, Ciba,

Do you know if they actually will work on your RFE case even before the AVM is updated? I have sent out my RFE for 2 weeks, no message is updated.

I wonder if they are delaying processing RFEs? From your respectiful knowledge any guess of the length of time needed for INS to approve a case after RFE\'s received? (I have filed an amended I-140 due to company name change)

Hi smile,

I think the officer will work on the case once RFE is received
regardlessly of the message update. It used to take about one month
or so to process RFE. Lately, it seems to take much longer.
Moreover, if the case is complicated, the time will be even
longer.

Mala,

The message will be something like this: "on xx/xx/xx, we received
your response to RFE, it is taking xxx days to process this kind
of case, blah blah blah"

Looks like INS is not working on RFE\'s these days. People submitted RFE\'s three to four weeks back and still waiting for the approvals.
