Will criminal record destroy my chances?

Hi, I am applying for a Green Card through a relative. I have had four fights on my criminal record. Two from the 90's, one from 2008 and one from 2014. Will this affect my chances for being accepted for a Green Card? Will I be denied?

felonies hurt a lot more than misdemeanors, but you may want to consult an attorney to be safe. keep all your court documents handy and declare honestly on the forms.

I never went to court, so I don't have any court documents. I simply paid a monetary fine in 3 cases and the last case was thrown out, because both parties accused the other. The documents state the amount of fine paid (or not paid) and an account of what happened. Do you have any opinion regarding my sutuation? Thank you
